Mr. Semere Haile, Dean of Hamelmalo College of Agriculture, said that it is expanding programs on the basis of putting in place the necessary infrastructural facilities.
Hamelmalo, 29 October 2014 – Mr. Semere Haile, Dean of Hamelmalo College of Agriculture, said that it is expanding programs on the basis of putting in place the necessary infrastructural facilities.
He told Erina that a 2-storey building is under construction so as to meet the College’s demand, and that 95% of the undertaking has been finalized. The project involves making available 13 laboratories, offices and 2 major lecture halls.
The Dean explained that the College is annually graduating students in Degree and Diploma, in addition to providing Masters Program education.Indicating that the post-graduate program of the College is registering encouraging outcome, Mr. Semere pointed out that 8 teachers of the College are currently pursuing PhD studies abroad while 50 others are attending Masters Degree courses.
According to reports, a total of 86 teachers, out of whom 47 are Eritreans, are presently serving at Hamelmalo College of Agriculture.
