Asmara, 02 November 2014- Seminar has been conducted by the NUEYS branch in the Central region aimed at nurturing youth that observes the history and good cultural values of the society.
At the seminar in which supervisors, school directors, heads of NUEYS in the sub-zones participated, Mr. Samson Kifle, Chairman of the association in the Central region, explained on the significance of strengthening the role of the association and schools towards implementing the objectives of the association, and that such seminars have important contribution in nurturing dedicated youth.
Mr. Robel Kebede, head of political organization in the NUEYS in the region, indicated that the regional association has been conducting political organization activities in schools since 2014/15, and that election of committee members would be conducted in junior and high schools.
Mr. Belai Habtegabir, acting head of the MOE branch office in the region, on his part said that schools should play pivotal role in nurturing youth that preserve the history and culture of the society, and that needs coordinated activities on the part of the association and schools.
