Maekel Ketema sub-zone: Children with enthusiasm for sports secure 80 thousand Nakfa in donation

Children with enthusiasm for sports in Maekel Ketema sub-zone, Central region, have obtained a total of about 80 thousand Nakfa in donation.

Asmara, 03 November 2014 – Children with enthusiasm for sports in Maekel Ketema sub-zone, Central region, have obtained a total of about 80 thousand Nakfa in donation. The support was provided by residents, entrepreneurs and sports fans in the sub-zone.

Mr. Habtai Tesfazghi, Administrator of the sub-zone, noted the significance of the gesture towards raising sporting potentials of the children.

Likewise, Mr. Mussie Teklehaimanot, head of the executive board of sports in the sub-zone, explained that about 200 children have joined grass-root sports activities in the Central region.
