Vaccination campaign for livestock underway in Dige sub-zone

A vaccination campaign for livestock is underway in Dige sub-zone, Gash-Barka region, targeting internal and external diseases. Mr. Habtu Woldu, veterinary, pointed out that it is aimed at combating diseases resulting from lack of vaccination, and that around 40 thousand livestock would receive vaccination.

Dige, 04 November 2014 – A vaccination campaign for livestock is underway in Dige sub-zone, Gash-Barka region, targeting internal and external diseases. Mr. Habtu Woldu, veterinary, pointed out that it is aimed at combating diseases resulting from lack of vaccination, and that around 40 thousand livestock would receive vaccination.

The herdsmen stated that thanks to the sustained vaccination service being provided, livestock there are in good condition.
