21 youths graduate from Ministry of Information in vocational training

A total of 21 youths, out of whom 11 are females graduated from the Ministry of Information upon completion of a month-long theoretical and practical training in Photo and Video shooting.

Asmara, 05 November 2014 – A total of 21 youths, out of whom 11 are females graduated from the Ministry of Information upon completion of a month-long theoretical and practical training in Photo and Video shooting.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony at Hager Media Hall within the premises of the Ministry, Mr. Girmai Berhe, director general of Radio Department, said that the course is a continuation of similar programs organized by the Ministry towards nurturing competent youths aimed at sharing experience between the veteran members and the youths.

Likewise, Mr. Kifle Sibahtu, head of human resource development in the Ministry, expressed appreciation for the enthusiasm demonstrated by the trainees.

According to reports, 15 out of the trainees were from the six Administrative regions engaged in news gathering, and the remaining 6 are from the National Union of Eritrean Youths and Students.
