Administrator calls on farmers in Emahmime and Naro to strive for higher output

The Administrator of the Northern Red Sea region, Ms. Tsegereda Woldegergis, has called on farmers in Emahmime and Naro to mount vigorous effort for higher output. She made the call during an inspection tour of Afabet and Krora sub-zones.

Massawa, November 2014 – The Administrator of the Northern Red Sea region, Ms. Tsegereda Woldegergis, has called on farmers in Emahmime and Naro to mount vigorous effort for higher output. She made the call during an inspection tour of Afabet and Krora sub-zones.

She advised the farming communities in the area to make judicious utilization of the available land and water resources, in addition to carrying out enhanced soil and water conservation undertakings.

Ms. Tsegereda also stressed the need to resort to community-based living style, and thereby become full beneficiaries of development programs.
