NUEW Board in Asmara expresses readiness to step up participation in development endeavors

The NUEW Board of Asmara has expressed readiness to step up participation in the implementation of development undertakings through higher organizational capacity.

Asmara, 07 November 2014 – The NUEW Board of Asmara has expressed readiness to step up participation in the implementation of development undertakings through higher organizational capacity. They made the pledge at an assessment meeting in which representatives of various Ministries, 13 sub-zones of the capital and Secondary schools, as well as national associations took part.

Ms. Tiegsti Haile, Chairperson of the Board, stressed the need for strengthening and upgrading organizational capacity so as to register commendable outcome in 2015. She further called on members to exert the necessary effort with a view to attaining the set goals of the Union.

Likewise, Mr. Asmerom Goitom, head of project at the NUEW branch in the Central region, called on the meeting participants to demonstrate active participation in State affairs.
