Youth Workers Organization branch in Ginda sub-zone holds 4th conference

The Youth Workers Organization branch in Ginda sub-zone has held its 4th conference.

Asmara, 07 November 2014 – The Youth Workers Organization branch in Ginda sub-zone has held its 4th conference. In opening remarks, Mr. Omar Yahiya, Administrator of the sub-zone, called on the participants to step up participation in the implementation of national development programs on the basis of higher organizational capacity and awareness.

Likewise, Dejen Gebru, head of the NUEYS branch in the sub-zone, stated that the objective of the Union is the nurturing of competent youths who would demonstrate active role in the nation-building process.

Similarly, Mr. Idris Osman, head of the NUEYS branch in the Northern Red Sea region, noted the pivotal role of youths in development endeavors, and called on them to sustain input to this end. The participants of the conference elected a 9-member managing committee.

Meanwhile, a similar conference has been conducted in Nakfa sub-zone, and that such activities would take place in the remaining sub-zones of the regional Administration.
