Eritrean nationals residing in Riyadh and its environs assert readiness to step up participation in national development endeavors

Asmara, 9 November 2014- At a meeting they conducted with Ms. Fauzia Hashim, Minister of Justice, during their annual festival that commenced on 6 November, Eritrean nationals residing in Riyadh and its environs, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, have asserted readiness to step up participation in national development endeavors.
At the seminar, the Minister gave extensive briefing on the progress of the development programs in the Homeland as well as regional and global developments, and called on nationals to reinforce participation in the national development endeavors. She also indicated that the Government is working hard to strengthen community based justice, education and health sectors.
Mr. Mohammed-Omar Mahmud, Eritrean Ambassador in Saudi Arabia, explained the significance of conducting festivals in strengthening unity and having common understanding on the challenges the country is facing, and called for strong organization towards foiling external conspiracies.
The participants on their part expressed conviction that they would live up to expectations in reinforcing their staunch resistance against external conspiracies aimed at obstructing the development programs in the Homeland.
