A total of 60 needy students in Agordat sub-zone have secured educational materials and financial support from the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch.
Asmara, 11 November 2014 – A total of 60 needy students in Agordat sub-zone have secured educational materials and financial support from the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch.
Mr. Yemane Kiflu, in charge of the branch office, said that 30 out of the beneficiary students received 500 Nakfa for uniform and registration fee, in addition to the educational materials.
Similarly, Mr. Michael Amine, head of social service in the sub-zone, stated that backing needy citizens is not only the responsibility of the government but nationals as well. Furthermore, he called on the beneficiary students to demonstrate higher competence taking the support as a steppingstone.
