Southern region: About 3 million Nakfa extended in support to families of martyrs

Mr. Firai Mehari, head of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in the Southern region, stated that a total of about 3 million Nakfa,  contributed by nationals residing abroad, has been extended to families of fallen heroes over the past 10 months.

Mendefera, 11 November 2014 – Mr. Firai Mehari, head of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in the Southern region, stated that a total of about 3 million Nakfa,  contributed by nationals residing abroad, has been extended to families of fallen heroes over the past 10 months.

The beneficiary families expressed appreciation for the support being extended to them on the part of the Government and fellow nationals. They noted that such gesture attests to the prevailing culture of collaboration in the country.
