ENWVA’s Eye Glass Manufacturing Plant secures material support worth Euro 300 thousand in donation

The eye glass manufacturing plant of the Eritrean National War-Disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) has secured material support worth Euro 300 thousand in donation from members in Sweden.

Asmara, 12 November 2014 – The eye glass manufacturing plant of the Eritrean National War-Disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) has secured material support worth Euro 300 thousand in donation from members in Sweden.

Mr. Tekeste Fisehaye, head of the ENWVA branch in Sweden, stated that the support is a continuation of similar materials sent by the members, and it comprises machines, lenses, eye glass frames and computers.

Similarly, Mr. Alazar Girmai, technician at the eye glass plant, noted the significance of the donated items vis-à-vis raising the production capacity of the Plant. Lenses and frames could be produced within 5 minutes with the help of the machines, he added.
