Southern region: Inland Revenue Department members receive training

A total of 42 members of the Inland Revenue Department in Mendefera, Dubarwa, Adi-Quala, Areza, Mai-Dima and Mai-Mine sub-zones have received training in customs and tax domains.

Mendefera, 13 November 2014 – A total of 42 members of the Inland Revenue Department in Mendefera, Dubarwa, Adi-Quala, Areza, Mai-Dima and Mai-Mine sub-zones have received training in customs and tax domains.

Mr. Yemane Beraki, Director of research and training branch in the Department, stated that the training would make due impact in the collection of taxes on time.

Similarly, Mr. Mussa Mohammed, head of the Department’s branch in the Southern region, said that a similar training would be organized in the future.

Mr. Kibrom Nirayo, head of Administration and Finance in the region, equally expressed the regional administration’s readiness to sustain collaboration.
