Asmat sub-zone: Call made on inhabitants to raise awareness regarding disease prevention

The head of the Health Ministry’s branch in Asmat sub-zone, Mr. Milu’e Beyin, has called on the inhabitants to raise awareness as regards preventive measures against diseases.

Asmat, 14 November 2014 – The head of the Health Ministry’s branch in Asmat sub-zone, Mr. Milu’e Beyin, has called on the inhabitants to raise awareness as regards preventive measures against diseases.

He explained that the Ministry is providing vaccination to children as part of endeavors to promote overall community wellbeing. Mr. Milu’e also called on the community members to vaccinate offsprings on time.

The branch head indicated that community awareness pertaining to prenatal and antenatal care is on the rise. Accordingly, problems encountered in child delivery instances have shown visible decline.
