The Education Ministry’s branch in Anseba region indicated that encouraging outcome is being registered in raising students participation and competence in the region. This was disclosed at a recent assessment meeting of the branch office for 2013/14.
Keren, 19 November 2014 – The Education Ministry’s branch in Anseba region indicated that encouraging outcome is being registered in raising students participation and competence in the region. This was disclosed at a recent assessment meeting of the branch office for 2013/14.
Mr. Hagos Adhana, head of the branch office, pointed out that over 61 new schools have been opened over the past few years, thus giving impetus to increased student participation and overcoming the constraints previously encountered.
Accordingly, a total of 313 schools in the region are providing service and that education service has witness 33%increase over the past five years that also gave rise to 6.3% in student participation. Mr. Hagos further stated that 321 schools for adult education program are providing service in remote areas of the region.
The participants of meeting exchanged views on various issues and charted action program for 2014/15.
