Eritrean community members in southern Germany reiterate readiness to enhance role in State affairs

Members of the Eritrean community in southern Germany have reiterated readiness to enhance role towards the realization of national development goals, and thereby build a prosperous nation on the basis of higher organization.

Asmara, 20 November 2014 –Members of the Eritrean community in southern Germany have reiterated readiness to enhance role towards the realization of national development goals, and thereby build a prosperous nation on the basis of higher organization. They made the pledge at a recent meeting conducted in Nuremberg city in which Eritrean nationals residing in the cities of Munich and Alum took part.

Mr. Kahsai Tewolde, in charge of communal and public affairs in the Eritrean Embassy, gave briefings to the meeting participants regarding the objective political and economic situation in the Homeland, as well as diplomatic developments. He also noted the steadfastness and dedication being demonstrated by the Eritrean people inside the country and abroad.

Also speaking at the meeting, Mr. Medhanie Tesfalem, in charge of a committee dealing with rebuff activities in that country, said that the attachment Eritrean citizens have with their country is exemplary, and called on the citizens to exert the necessary effort in development endeavors.

Likewise, Semhar Tekeste, Chairperson of the 11th YPFDJ Conference due to take place in Germany shortly, pointed out that the organization has registered commendable achievements under the umbrella of the People’s Front.

Seminars focusing on multi-faceted external conspiracies, preservation of national identity, history of the Eritrean people and psychological war, coupled with combating it were treated by educated nationals on the occasion.
