Adi-Keih: Eye treatment medics undertaken on 387 nationals

Mr. Gebreselasie Gebremariam, in charge of non-communicable diseases at the Health Ministry’s branch in the Southern region, indicated that eye treatment medics has been undertaken in Adi-Keih Hospital on  387 nationals from Segeneiti, Senafe, Dekemhare, Adi-Keih, Tserona and Mai-Aini sub-zones.

Adi-Keih, 21 November 2014 – Mr. Gebreselasie Gebremariam, in charge of non-communicable diseases at the Health Ministry’s branch in the Southern region, indicated that eye treatment medics has been undertaken in Adi-Keih Hospital on  387 nationals from Segeneiti, Senafe, Dekemhare, Adi-Keih, Tserona and Mai-Aini sub-zones.

He went on to explain that the program is part of the endeavors being made to combat blindness, and that it is a continuation of similar eye treatment medics undertaken seven months ago. Moreover, the program has been implemented through joint collaboration with the Health Ministry and the National Blindness Prevention and Control Section, he added.

According to reports, a total of 550 patients have received similar service in the Hospital in two rounds.
