Ginda sub-zone: Call made on inhabitants to demonstrate active participation in combating malaria

Mr. Omar Yahiya, Administrator of Gindae sub-zone, has called on the local inhabitants to demonstrate active participation with a view to realizing the set objectives as regards combating malaria.

Gindae, 29 November 2014 – Mr. Omar Yahiya, Administrator of Gindae sub-zone, has called on the local inhabitants to demonstrate active participation with a view to realizing the set objectives as regards combating malaria. He made the call at a meeting with the inhabitants following sensitization activities in the area. The Administrator further urged them to sustain enhanced effort to this end.

Tesfu Mihreteab,  a youth from Gindae Regional Referral Hospital,  noted the significance of conducting environmental hygiene and doing away with mosquito breeding spots so as to prevent instances of the disease. He also called on Administrators and community members to play active role in this regard.
