The National Association of Autism and Dawns Syndrome today held its 2nd Conference here in the capital in which Ministers, Administrator of the Central region, invited guests and members took part.
Asmara, 29 November 2014 – The National Association of Autism and Dawns Syndrome today held its 2nd Conference here in the capital in which Ministers, Administrator of the Central region, invited guests and members took part.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kahsai Gebrehiwet, Minister of Labor and Human Welfare, explained that the Association is exerting efforts in collaboration with partners towards enabling victims to become active members of society, and that satisfactory outcome is being registered to this end.
He further called on members of the public at large, parents and pertinent bodies to take concerted action for encouraging the Autism and Dawns Syndrome Victims to become full beneficiaries of education and other social services.
The conference participants made the necessary updating of the Association’s constitution, besides electing a new managing committee and drawing up action program.
