President Isaias holds talks with Amir of Qatar on bilateral issues

President Isaias Afwerki and Sheik Tamim Bin Hamad, Amir of Qatar, held talks in Doha in the morning hours of 7 December on enhancing bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest to both countries.

Asmara, 7 December 2014- President Isaias Afwerki and Sheik Tamim Bin Hamad, Amir of Qatar, held talks in Doha in the morning hours of 7 December on enhancing bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest to both countries.

President Isaias left for Qatar on a working visit yesterday, 6 December.

On arrival in Doha International Airport, he was welcomed by the Qatari Minister of Culture and Arts, Dr. Hammed Bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Kawari.
