Ministry extends support to needy citizens and families of Martyrs

The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Molqi sub-zone indicated that financial and other type of support has been extended to needy citizens and families of martyrs.

Molqi, 08 December 2014 – The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Molqi sub-zone indicated that financial and other type of support has been extended to needy citizens and families of martyrs.

Fikreselasie Yemane, in charge of the branch office, stated that a total of 4 offsprings of martyrs were rehabilitated through 30, 000 Nakfa each, while needy students in the sub-zone have received educational materials and 500 Nakfa each for a similar purpose.

Accordingly, over 4 million Nakfa has initially been disbursed to families of fallen heroes on the basis of monthly benefit scheme this year, and a third one is due to be conducted shortly, he added.

The beneficiary families expressed satisfaction with the gesture, and voiced readiness to strive to take good care of the orphaned children.
