Eritrean nationals residing in the Dutch city of Rotterdam have asserted readiness to sustain input in endeavors towards improving livelihood of the Disabled.

Asmara, 09 December 2014 – Eritrean nationals residing in the Dutch city of Rotterdam have asserted readiness to sustain input in endeavors towards improving livelihood of the Disabled. They voiced the commitment at a commemorative event of the International Day of the Disabled that they observed.

Mr. Yohanes Mebrahtu, Chairman of the Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association branch in the Netherlands, gave briefings highlighting the accomplishments of branch office in collaboration with partners pertaining to extending support to the Disabled. He further pointed out that patronizing disabled citizens is not only the responsibility of the Government but also the society at large.

The event witnessed the staging of musical performances by cultural troupe of the Eritrean community there.
