Eritrean nationals residing in Gedarif region assert readiness to step up participation in development endeavors

Eritrean nationals residing in the Sudanese Gedafir region have asserted readiness to step up participation in national development endeavors.

Asmara, 10 December 2014 – Eritrean nationals residing in the Sudanese Gedafir region have asserted readiness to step up participation in national development endeavors. They made the pledge at a meeting conducted on December 7.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ismael Mussa, in charge of public and communal affairs at the Eritrean Embassy in the Republic of Sudan, pointed out that remarkable achievements could be registered in the Homeland over the past 15 years without falling victim to external conspiracies, and that the required groundwork is being laid for investment.

He further noted the significance of active participation and investment undertakings on the part of Eritrean nationals towards building a strong economy.  To this end, he gave briefings regarding the available resources and opportunities.

The participants voiced readiness to demonstrate higher participation in State affairs on the basis of enhanced organization and awareness.
