Eritrean nationals residing in the Italian city of Bologna have asserted readiness to enhance role as regards mounting staunch resistance against external conspiracies through higher organizational capacity.

Asmara, 11 December 2014 – Eritrean nationals residing in the Italian city of Bologna have asserted readiness to enhance role as regards mounting staunch resistance against external conspiracies through higher organizational capacity. They voiced the commitment at a meeting conducted on December 8, during which, Mr. Girmai Habtemichael, in charge of public and communal affairs in the Eritrean Embassy in Italy, gave briefings focusing on the objective situation in the Homeland and the pace of national development drive.

He also stated that Eritrea has promising future thanks to persistent endeavors and steadfastness on the part of the people and their leadership.

Mr Girmai further called on the participants to step up participation for still more gratifying outcome on the basis of demonstrating higher organizational capacity and enhanced awareness, besides making effective assessment.

Meanwhile, Eritrean community members in Milan have reiterated readiness to reinforce activities. They made the pledge at an annual assessment meeting conducted on December 7.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Russom Gebregergis, Councilor in the Eritrean Embassy, gave briefings regarding the objective situation in the nation, consular service and future plans of the office, as well as Eritrea’s participation in Expo Exhibition scheduled to take place in Milan city in May 2015.
