NUEW branch in Port Sudan asserts readiness to enhance role in State affairs

The sub-branch of the National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) in Port Sudan has asserted readiness to enhance role in State affairs in an organized manner.

Asmara, 15 December 2014 – The sub-branch of the National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) in Port Sudan has asserted readiness to enhance role in State affairs in an organized manner. It made the pledge at a meeting on December 12.

Mr. Andemariam Gebremichael, Chairman of Eritrean community in the Sudanese Red Sea region, stated that the Union is demonstrating exemplary participation in the nation-building process, and expressed conviction that it would enhance contribution in the implementation of national development programs in the Homeland.

Reports also indicated that preparations are being made to mark the 35th founding anniversary of the NUEW.
