Foro, 17 December 2014 – A Health Station is under construction in Irafaile administrative area, Foro sub-zone, at a total expenditure of 9-million Nakfa.
Mr. Tesfagabir Gebremariam, in charge of follow-up of the project, indicated that it comprises 14 rooms, and commended the active community participation in the undertaking.
Likewise, Mr. Saleh Ibrahim, Administrator of the area, said that the inhabitants of Irafaile and Gebgebwasana villages would become beneficiaries of the facility upon finalization, and expressed conviction that it would make significant contribution in easing health shortages being encountered.
Mr. Dawit Embaye, Administrator of the Area, explained on his part that the health station is part of the social service facilities being rendered to the local inhabitants and called on them to enhance role towards the development of the Station.
Meanwhile, a health center is being put in place in Bada area at a total expense of 32-million Nakfa, according to the Health Ministry’s branch in the Northern Red Sea region.
