Training course organized for fishermen in Southern Red Sea region

The Ministry of Fisheries branch in the Southern Red Sea region, in collaboration with Anberbeb Share Company, has organized training course for Fishermen from Assab, Ti’o, Eidi, Belubey and Ber’asole areas through  proper utilization of motor input for boats.

Assab, 17 December 2014 – The Ministry of Fisheries branch in the Southern Red Sea region, in collaboration with Anberbeb Share Company, has organized training course for Fishermen from Assab, Ti’o, Eidi, Belubey and Ber’asole areas through  proper utilization of motor input for boats.

The theoretical and practical course is aimed at raising the capacity of the fishermen, and thereby meets local demand.

Mr. Ali Shifa, head of the Ministry’s branch in the region, stated that it is a continuation of similar training being organized with a view to harnessing marine resources effectively, and called on them to strive for higher outcome.

The trainees noted the significance of the course in their day-to-day activities, and voiced readiness to develop the career through work experience.
