Central region: Partners called upon to enhance role towards nurturing virtuous youth

Mr. Samson Kifle, head of the National Union of Eritrean Youths and Students (NUEYS) branch in the Central region, has called on partners to enhance role towards nurturing youth nationals endowed with virtuous qualities.

Asmara, 20 December 2014 – Mr. Samson Kifle, head of the National Union of Eritrean Youths and Students (NUEYS) branch in the Central region, has called on partners to enhance role towards nurturing youth nationals endowed with virtuous qualities. He made the call at a seminar for students of Semaetat Secondary School here in the capital jointly organized by the PFDJ, the regional Police office and that of the NUEYS.

Speaking at the seminar, Capt. Sembelawit Redae, Commander of the 6th Police Station, stressed the significance of holding such seminars as regards upgrading the awareness of the citizenry as a whole in promoting understanding about legal issues and their enforcement.

The PFDJ Secretary in Gejeret sub-zone, Ms. Tsighe Yohannes, called on youth members to avoid falling victim to instances of anti-social practices.

Similarly, Ms. Tiblets Tewolde, Administrator of the sub-zone, underlined the need for the youth to uphold societal values and thereby become full beneficiaries of the available educational opportunities.
