Massawa, 21 December 2014- At an annual assessment meeting in which the administrator of the sub-zone, area administrators, heads of different associations and others took part, it has been expressed that the 2014 development programs in Ghinda sub-zone have been successful thanks to the popular participation of the residents.
In a speech he delivered at the occasion, Mr. Adm Idris, Chairman of Ghinda town council, said that the duty of the Town Council is to report concerns and demands of the residents to concerned institutions and conduct follow up, and that the development programs conducted by the Ghinda town residents and civil servants have been very successful.
In a report he provided the Chairman also indicated that the revenue of the town in 2014 has been 14 million.
Mr. Omar Yahia, Administrator of the sub-zone on his part commended the efforts conducted by the town council to solve the demands and problems of the residents of the sub-zone.
The participants conducted extensive discussion on the report presented, and called for concerted efforts to reduce the prevalence of malaria in their sub-zone.
