A total of 46 students have graduated with Diploma and Certificate from the Mendefera and Dekemhare branches of SMAP Institute upon completion of Accounting, Management and Pedagogy courses.
Mendefera, 22 December 2014 – A total of 46 students have graduated with Diploma and Certificate from the Mendefera and Dekemhare branches of SMAP Institute upon completion of Accounting, Management and Pedagogy courses.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony at Kudo Himbasha Hall in Mendefera city, Dr. Tesfai Haile, Director of the Institute, explained that the objective of the Institute is to promote quality education to nationals in line with the Government’s endeavors to this end. He also indicated that it has provided training courses in Mendefera and Dekemhare for members of the Police Force and Agriculture Ministry’s branch in the Southern region regarding upgrading institutional work.
Dr. Tesfai expressed appreciation for the all-round support extended to the Institute by the regional Administration office.
Also speaking on the occasion, Mr. Efrem Gebrekirstos, Administrator of the Southern region, noted the vitality of educated human resource in the national development process, and called on the youths in the region to make good use of the available educational opportunity.
Commending the opportunity accorded to the graduating batch, representatives of the graduates outlined the significance of the courses offered by SMAP towards developing their career.
