Central region Administrator calls for joint endeavors towards nurturing virtuous youths

The Administrator of the Central region, Maj. General Ramadan Osman Awliyai, has called for joint endeavors towards nurturing youths endowed with virtuous qualities.

Asmara, 25 December 2014 – The Administrator of the Central region, Maj. General Ramadan Osman Awliyai, has called for joint endeavors towards nurturing youths endowed with virtuous qualities. He made the call at an assessment meeting of the NUEYS branch in the region conducted yesterday.

The Administrator also stated that a number of programs would be organized to raise all-round capacity of the youth, and noted the significance of equipping them with the required skill and knowledge for the realization of national development goals.

Reports presented on the occasion indicated that extensive promotional activities were conducted so as raise awareness of the youth as regards law and communicable diseases, and that satisfactory outcome could be registered in raising organizational capacity.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Samson Kifle, head of the NUEYS branch in the region, noted the vitality of the assessment meeting in identifying positive and negative sides, and stressed the need for exerting stepped-up efforts in this regard.

The participants on their part called for enhanced efforts for strengthening relations with partners, and thereby raise youth awareness.
