Development undertakings in Adi-Tekelezan sub-zone registering commendable outcome as regards improving community livelihood
Development undertakings in Adi-Tekelezan sub-zone undertaken on the basis of active public participation have facilitated improvement in community livelihood.
Adi-Tekelezan, 25 December 2014 – Development undertakings in Adi-Tekelezan sub-zone undertaken on the basis of active public participation have facilitated improvement in community livelihood. This was disclosed at a meeting in which line Ministries of the sub-zone, members of the Assembly, national Associations, Area and village Administrators took part. The participants of the meeting conducted discussion on the action plan of the sub-zone for 2015.
In a report he presented at the meeting, Mr. Solomon Haile, Administrator of the sub-zone, explained that satisfactory outcome was registered in soil and water conservation activities, renovation of dirt roads, construction of terraces and micro-dams through higher communal participation. He also indicated that waiting rooms for pregnant mothers would be to put in place in the Administrative areas of Begesa, Shindwa, Mealedin and Embaderho.
Similarly, Mr. Abraham Teklit, representative of the Sports Commission in the sub-zone, said that encouraging achievements have been realized towards nurturing competent sportspersons, and expressed appreciation for the active collaboration the sub-zonal Administration demonstrated in the process.
