Mendefera, 26 December 2014 – The Health Ministry’s branch in the Southern region indicated that encouraging outcome is being registered in endeavors exerted to control communicable diseases through the active collaboration of sub-zonal and local Administrators, partners, the regional Assembly, as well as community elders. This was disclosed at a meeting with the inhabitants of the region.
Mr. Laine Ogbaselasie, in charge of follow-up of controlling communicable diseases at the Ministry’s branch, said that community awareness prevails to this end thanks to the promotional activities and seminars conducted.
In closing remarks, Mr. Abraham Hagos, Administrator of Mendefera sub-zone, expressed the readiness of the Administration’s office to sustain the necessary support in combating infection.
