Election of Area and Village administrators conducted in Forto-Sawa sub-zone

The election of Area and Village administrators has been conducted in 4 Administrative areas of Forto-Sawa sub-zone.

Forto-Sawa, 27 December 2014 – The election of Area and Village administrators has been conducted in 4 Administrative areas of Forto-Sawa sub-zone.

Members of the election committee gave briefings to the local inhabitants regarding the election process, and called on the community members to nominate fellow nationals who would serve them with higher sense of uprightness. They further urged the newly elected citizens to live up to expectations.

The inhabitants on their part voiced readiness to sustain the necessary collaboration with the newly elected Administrators in all activities.

Meanwhile, Sub-Lt. Hamid Idris, commander of police station in the sub-zone, conducted a seminar as regards active cooperation of administrators and village committees with the Police in ensuring peace and security.
