Eritrean community members in Amsterdam extend financial support to National Association of Autism and Dawns Syndrome

About 200 Eritrean nationals residing in the Dutch city of Amsterdam and environs have contributed over 130 thousand Nakfa to the National Association of Autism and Dawns Syndrome.

Asmara, 02 January 2015 – About 200 Eritrean nationals residing in the Dutch city of Amsterdam and environs have contributed over 130 thousand Nakfa to the National Association of Autism and Dawns Syndrome.

Mr. Berhane Bokretsion, Chairman of the Association, pointed out that thanks to the persistent endeavors exerted to them, the victims have witnessed mental improvement, and called on partners in general and parents in particular to enhance role towards the realization of the set goals. He further expressed appreciation for the nationals who took the initiative of supporting the victims.

Among the community members, Mr. Amanuel Yigzaw, Tirhas Gebreab and Mr. Berhe Beyene expressed readiness to sustain input in the nation-building process. Ms. Azieb Gebremedhin, who served as a teacher for over 40 years, noted on her part the significance of enhanced awareness of the communities as regards backing up the victims’ aspirations for improved lifestyle.
