Call made for reinforcing participation in the efforts to nurture students which uphold societal values

At a seminar conducted on 2 January at Tsaeda Christian School call was made on parents and stakeholders to reinforce participation in the efforts being conducted to nurture students which uphold societal values.

 

Asmara, 04 January 2015- At a seminar conducted on 2 January at Tsaeda Christian School call was made on parents and stakeholders to reinforce participation in the efforts being conducted to nurture students which uphold societal values.

In a speech he delivered at the occasion, Mr. Belai Habtegabir, head of Ministry of Education Central region branch, said that the Government is exerting strong efforts to provide educational opportunities to all nationals, and called for strong cooperation among teachers, parents and students in the teaching and learning process.

Ms. Leul Asrat, administrator of Berik sub-zone, explained the role of educated youth in the national development programs, and called on the students to concentrate on their education so that they would have bright future.

Likewise, Mr. Yohannes Tadsse, head of crime prevention at the sub-zone Police Department, stressed the importance of understanding the law and called on parents to play due role in nurturing youth that respect societal values.

The participants on their part called on parents to strengthen efforts in raising disciplined children and students to give priority to education that ultimately decides their destiny.
