Amalait Health Center rendering commendable service

Female inhabitants of Kerkebet sub-zone stated that Amalait Health Center is rendering commendable service to the local inhabitants in general and pregnant mothers in particular.

Kerkebet, 05 January 2015 –Female inhabitants of Kerkebet sub-zone stated that Amalait Health Center is rendering commendable service to the local inhabitants in general and pregnant mothers in particular. They also said that at present mortality rate during delivery has shown visible decline.

Associate Nurse Awed Ahmed-Nur, head of the Center, pointed out that it is providing vaccination, Laboratory and VCT services, in addition to distributing mosquito nets so as to combat instances of malaria and in organizing promotional campaigns.

According to reports, over 11 thousand inhabitants of the villages of Felege, Dirfa, Aliet, Ad-Deglel and Ad-Seydna obtained service.
