The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Asmat sub-zone has rehabilitated families engaged in patronizing orphaned children through livestock at a total expenditure of 30 thousand Nakfa each.
Asmat, 09 January 2015 – The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Asmat sub-zone has rehabilitated families engaged in patronizing orphaned children through livestock at a total expenditure of 30 thousand Nakfa each. The beneficiary families were from the Administrative areas of Hirum, Erota and Shakha-Wegret.
Col. Saleh Idris, head of the branch office, explained that persistent efforts are being exerted towards improving the livelihood of nationals, and called on the families to strive to lead improved lifestyle taking the support as a steppingstone.
He also pointed out that previously the branch office has rehabilitated a total of 106 families, 59 of whom are students, with similar type, and that encouraging outcome was registered.
The beneficiary families commended the Government’s commitment to support needy nationals and voiced readiness to live up to expectation.
