Youths from Berikh and Adi-Quala sub-zones express readiness to step up participation in development endeavours

Youth members from Berikh and Adi-Quala sub-zones have expressed readiness to step up participation in development endeavors through enhanced organization and awareness.

Asmara, 09 January 2015 – Youth members from Berikh and Adi-Quala sub-zones have expressed readiness to step up participation in development endeavors through enhanced organization and awareness. They made the pledge at a meeting conducted focusing on exchange of experience.

The heads of the NUEYS branch in the Central region and that of the Health Ministry in Adi-Quala sub-zone conducted seminar with a view to raising political and health awareness of youths.

It was emphasized on the occasion regarding the significance of bequeathing the heroic feats, dedication and steadfastness of the Eritrean people to the young generation. Moreover, the need for exerting joint endeavors towards nurturing versatile youth was underscored.

A seminar was also conducted alongside the meeting pertaining to the dire consequences of communicable diseases in general and HIV in particular.
