Keren, 11 January 2015- At an assessment meeting they conducted in Keren the youth in Anseba region expressed conviction to reinforce organization and back up national development programs.

Mr. Azazi Bereketeab, Head of NUEYS Anseba branch, said that the objective for strengthening organization is to nurture youth who shoulder the responsibility of nation building and sharing experiences among each other, and that strong efforts and heavy investment are being made to that end.

He further indicated that establishing youth centers and strengthening political awareness of the youth are the main activities for the year 2015.

In a speech he delivered at the occasion, Mr. Saleh Ahmedin, Chairman of the NUEYS, stressed that nurturing youth who convert challenges into opportunities is timely task of the organization, and called on the youth to work hard for the success of the national development programs.

Mr. Okbai Berhe, head of the NUEYS central office, indicated that most of the programs of the year 2014 have been implemented thanks to the cooperation of stakeholders and the participation of the youth, and that nurturing youth that observe national values requires strong cooperation of government institutions and the public.

The participants on their part called for strengthening the understanding of stakeholders on the youth demands, the timely completion of youth centers and encouraging individual initiative of the youth.
