Inhabitants of Dob’at area assert readiness to enhance role in development endeavors

The inhabitants of Dob’at area, Hagaz sub-zone, who have resorted to community-based living style asserted readiness to enhance role in development endeavors and called for the putting in place of basic social service facilities.

Hagaz, 20 January 2015 – The inhabitants of Dob’at area, Hagaz sub-zone, who have resorted to community-based living style asserted readiness to enhance role in development endeavors and called for the putting in place of basic social service facilities.

Commending the Government’s commitment to improve the livelihood of nationals living in remote areas, the community members stated that thanks to the community-based living style scheme they have become beneficiaries of potable water supply facilities.

Aba Zegergis Haile, in charge of follow up of social service facilities, noted the significance of the community-based living style in expanding and promoting services. He further stressed the need for putting in place a health center, educational facility and market for fruits and vegetables.

Dob’at is located some 6-Km. east of Hagaz town.
