The National Union of Eritrean Women’s branch in the Northern Red Sea region has extended a total of 512 chickens to 52 families of fallen heroes and needy members in Mai-Habar Administrative area with a view to improving their livelihood.
Ginda, 20 January 2015 – The National Union of Eritrean Women’s branch in the Northern Red Sea region has extended a total of 512 chickens to 52 families of fallen heroes and needy members in Mai-Habar Administrative area with a view to improving their livelihood.
Ms. Jim’a Raki, head of the branch office, explained that it is a continuation of similar types of support extended in villages and remote areas. She further called on the beneficiary families to strive for improved living style taking the support as a steppingstone.
Mr. Ahmed Omer Zeyle, Administrator of the area, called on the women to raise their organizational capacity and exert the necessary effort so as to become self-sufficient.
The beneficiaries expressed readiness to live up to expectation.
