NUEW branch in Milan holds conference

The National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) branch in Milan city, Italy, held Conference on January 20 in which a number of members took part.

Asmara, 23 January 2015 – The National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) branch in Milan city, Italy, held Conference on January 20 in which a number of members took part.

In the course of the conference, accomplishment report was presented by the Managing committee of the branch office, and the participants conducted discussion on the report, besides mapping out future action plan.

Mr. Russom Gebregiorgis, Consul in the city, and Mr. Girmai Habtemichael, in charge of public and communal affairs in the Eritrean Embassy in Italy, exchanged views with participants pertaining to the reinforcement of the Union’s organizational capacity and development endeavors.

Commending the pace of development drive in the Homeland, the participants reiterated readiness to mount staunch resistance against external conspiracies and step up participation in State affairs. They also elected Managing committee that would serve till the next conference.
