The inhabitants of Aretai area, Habero sub-zone, indicated that the area is witnessing progress thanks to the substantial investment made by the people and Government regarding social service and trade activities.
Habero, 24 January 2015 – The inhabitants of Aretai area, Habero sub-zone, indicated that the area is witnessing progress thanks to the substantial investment made by the people and Government regarding social service and trade activities.
They stated that social service facilities, including potable water supply, market place for fruits and vegetables, as well as education and the like have been made available following the attainment of independence, and thus gave impetus to community-based living style.
Mr. Hamid Jabera, Administrator of Aretai Administrative area, explained on his part that over 500 inhabitants of the area have constructed residences on land plots allotted to them upon resort to community-based pattern of living.
Aretai is located some 60 Km north of Keren city and inhabited by about 1,000 families.
