Efforts being exerted to strengthen popular participation of residents of Dige sub-zone in development programs

At a meeting conducted in which administrators and the public took part it has been indicated that strong efforts are being exerted to strengthen popular participation of the residents of Dige sub-zone in development programs.

Barentu, 25 January 2015- At a meeting conducted in which administrators and the public took part it has been indicated that strong efforts are being exerted to strengthen popular participation of the residents of Dige sub-zone in development programs.

It has been further explained that the popular participation of the residents in soil and water conservation programs, organization of social service provision institutions, reforestation as well as the implementation of other programs in the sub-zone have been exemplary, and that the popular participation in all development programs is essential.

Mr. Humed Ela, administrator of the sub-zone, stated that thanks to the strong participation of the public and members of the People’s Army all the set out development programs have been successfully implemented, and that the organization of the public would be the priority activity for the success of the development programs of 2015.

He further called on the public to reinforce participation in the soil and water conservation as well as environmental sanitation programs.
