The Assembly of Anseba region held its 17th regular meeting on January 22 in Keren. In the course of the meeting in which executive members of the region took part, accomplishment reports were presented indicating that development programs implemented in 2014 have borne encouraging outcome as regards improving community livelihood.
Keren, 26 January 2015 – The Assembly of Anseba region held its 17th regular meeting on January 22 in Keren. In the course of the meeting in which executive members of the region took part, accomplishment reports were presented indicating that development programs implemented in 2014 have borne encouraging outcome as regards improving community livelihood.
The Assembly also called for reinforcing soil and water conservation activities, strengthening lessons in the Bidhawyet mother tongue, repairing and renovating dirt roads, promoting afforestation, as well as making timely preparations for next summer, among others.
In closing remarks, The Administrator of Anseba region, Mr. Ali Mahmud, called on the Assembly members to strengthen their activities, and thus exert increased efforts towards raising awareness and organizational capacity of the public, in addition to demonstrating active participation in national development programs.
