Athlete Teklemariam ranks first in International Cross Country Competition

Eritrean athlete Teklemariam Medhin yesterday ranked 1st in International Cross Country Competition that took place in Elgoibar, Spain.

Asmara, 26 January 2015 – Eritrean athlete Teklemariam Medhin yesterday ranked 1st in International Cross Country Competition that took place in Elgoibar, Spain. It is for the third time that the athlete scored such impressive successes this month. He registered the first success in San-Sebastian, the second in Seville and the latest in Elgoybar-all in Spain.

Athlete Teklemariam concluded the 10.8 km-long race in the latest one in 33 minutes and 2 seconds. Turkish athlete Polat Kemboi Arikan ranked second lagging behind Teklemariam by 2 seconds, while Ugandan Joshua Chpetegei ranked third emerging second winner by 3 seconds. As regards Eritrean athlete Goitom Kifle, he ranked fourth lagging by 4 seconds from the third winner.
