Mendefera Associate Nurse Boarding School graduates 101 students with Certificate

A total of 101 students who are members of the 24th and 25th  round National Service,  have graduated with Certificate from Mendefera Associate Nurse Boarding School upon completing  18-months training course.

 

Mendefera, 26 January 2015 – A total of 101 students who are members of the 24th and 25th  round National Service,  have graduated with Certificate from Mendefera Associate Nurse Boarding School upon completing  18-months training course.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony in which the Administrator of the Southern region, Mr. Efrem Gebrekirstos, and other invited guests, as well as parents took part, Mr. Bereket Fisehaye, School director, pointed out that the graduating batch completed the extensive theoretical and practical training with enthusiasm and that they have lived up to the standard set by the Health Ministry.

He also stated that the necessary facilities, including modern hall, adequate classrooms, Laboratory, Library and Internet access have been made available with a view to providing quality education.

Likewise, Ms. Kidusan Abraha, Coordinator of regional Associate Nurse Schools, explained that the objective of launching such schools in the Administrative regions is to nurture competent and ample health personnel. She further called on the graduating batch to serve with dedication.

Also speaking on the occasion, Dr. Berhane Debru, Director General of HRD in the Health Ministry, indicated that tangible successes have been registered in the Health sector thanks to the substantial investment made to this end.

A representative of the graduates expressed readiness to live up to expectations.
