Encouraging accomplishments registered in Habero sub-zone in expanding social service facilities and economic development undertakings

Reports indicated that encouraging accomplishments have been registered in Habero sub-zone as regards expanding social service facilities and economic development underlings.

Habero, 27 January 2015 – Reports indicated that encouraging accomplishments have been registered in Habero sub-zone as regards expanding social service facilities and economic development underlings.

At a recent meeting it was stated that over 180 quintals of sorghum and millet select seeds were extended to farmers in the administrative areas of Habero Tsa’eda and Tselim, Qarobel, Af’ayun and Mezret, and that bumper harvest was obtained thanks to last year’s abundant rains. Similarly, about 2,300 chicks were handed to 90 individuals, in addition to vaccination to livestock.

Mr. Saleh Haji, Administrator of the sub-zone, pointed out that more efforts would be exerted to overcome bottlenecks regarding the provision of the necessary social service facilities.
