Inhabitants of Tala express readiness to enhance role towards realization of development schemes

The inhabitants of Tala area, Dubarwa sub-zone, have expressed readiness to enhance role in the realization of national development schemes through extending financial and labor support.

Dubarwa, 28 January 2015 – The inhabitants of Tala area, Dubarwa sub-zone, have expressed readiness to enhance role in the realization of national development schemes through extending financial and labor support.

They made the pledge in connection with the construction of 15-km. dirt road that links their village with Adi-Kefelet and Tala-Qaqebda dirt route. The local inhabitants are demonstrating active participation on the basis of working 8-hours daily, coupled with heavy machinery.

Mr. Gebrehiwet Tesfamichael, in charge of follow-up of the project, told Erina that 75% of the project has been finalized and commended the active participation of the local inhabitants in timely finalization of development projects.

Mr. Abraham Teka, Administrator of Dubarwa sub-zone, called on other villages to emulate the praiseworthy initiative and voiced the sub-zonal administration’s readiness to extend the necessary support in all their activities.
